Johnson & Johnson and the Canadian/American Spinal Research Organizations are working together to help fund research to prevent and cure brain & spine injuries through Shoot for a Cure.
Shoot for a Cure (SFAC) is a fundraising collaborative committed to monetarily supporting and assisting the prevention and cure of neurotrauma injuries. Millions of Americans and Canadians live with injuries relating to the brain or spine. SFAC hopes to put a spotlight on this serious issue that impacts so many people, from those injured to their loved ones. SFAC not only wants to help those coping with neurotrauma live more comfortably and save hundreds of millions on health care costs, but also to train hockey players, coaches, and other athletes on how to prevent neurotraumas from occurring in the first place.
